Saving Cyclist's Lives Worldwide

www.RoadGuardian.com
One way to make cycling safer is to know where the danger points and trouble spots are located.
Where have cyclists experienced "close calls"?
Where have they been hit and injured? Where have they been killed? Where have dogs chased them?
Where are the pot holes located? Where have cyclists been harassed by motorists? Knowing the answers to these questions will make us smarter and safer cyclists when we can choose safe routes to ride.
www.RoadGuardian.com …the FIRST global tool for reporting, marking and sharing the geo-locations for cycling incidents and trouble spots. The goal of Road Guardian is simple: to save lives. Our lives. And our success in meeting this goal depends upon all cyclists reporting, marking and sharing information on the danger points and trouble spots we encounter.
Be seen. Be Smart. Be safe.

Winterborne Bicycle Institute

Winterborne Bicycle Institute (WBI) is Canada's leading provider of training for bicycle mechanics. WBI offers three distinct courses at this time:

Pro Bike Mechanics. This is our flagship offering. It's an 11-day immersion experience for bike shop owners, bike shop mechanics, and the enthusiast home mechanic. This course is offered through Conestoga College, with whom we're an off-campus trade school partner. The course is also accredited by Shimano Canada. Pro Bike Mechanics is run four or five times through the cycling off-season (Sept to April).
Park Tool School. This is a two-day (weekend) clinic for the recreational rider and home mechanic. We cover all the basic things you need to keep your bike safe and sound, and how to spot and deal with major work for which you'll want the experienced hands of a bike shop mechanic. This clinic is run approximately every other month, or more often if demand warrants.
Build Your Wheels - Weekend Wheel Building Course. Want to learn to build wheels in a setting that coaches you through building your own set of MTB or Road wheels that you can then ride away on? Then this weekend course is for you.
In addition to the above, WBI can tailor and package training in bicycle mechanics to the depth and audience you desire. Got a unique club situation? Got a unique business situation or perhaps launching a new shop? We can help. Just give us a call at 519-826-0556.
